Purpose and Activities
The purposes of this society are as follows:
Encouraging study, research, education and training concerning with ultrasonograhic diagnosis and subsequent adequate treatment of the surface organs (including breast and thyroid gland and so on) for members and contribute to the public health.
In order to accomplish these purposes, the Society will carry out the following projects:
1. Hosting academic meetings and lectures.
2. Publishing academic journals and guidelines on ultrasonography
3. Certification of medical specialists and examiner
4. Communication and cooperation with concerned academic societies in Japan and abroad
5. Other projects necessary to accomplish the said purposes
